Two faculty documentary projects
Documentary Studies Work-in-Progress featuring recipients of two faculty seed grants
Join us for a presentation of two projects in the Documentary Studies Work-in-Progress series:
Professor Ernest Grant presents on his project, "Equity in Action: Breaking Barriers in Nursing Leadership for The Future of Healthcare," which highlights the journeys of Black men in nursing leadership through interviews exploring their leadership philosophies, their personal stories, and the impact of diversity in healthcare.
Professors Trina Jones and Geovanny Martinez present their oral history project documenting the life, work, impact and legacy of Professor Jerome M. Culp, Jr., the first tenured professor of color at Duke Law, who was a prolific scholar and internationally known for his work on race and the law.
This is the final presentation in the Work-in-Progress series, co-sponsored by the Forum @ FHI. All events in the series are held at the Center for Documentary Studies in Bridges Auditorium, (B007), 1317 W. Pettigrew Street, Durham.
All are welcome. No registration required. All sessions will include a presentation and ample time for questions and discussion.
Light snacks provided.
