Engaged Scholarship Network Discussion
With Jennifer Ahern-Dodson
Are you teaching an engaged pedagogy such as service-learning, community-based research, or participatory action research and interested in advancing your scholarship? Does your research include community partners? Do you want to explore ways to connect with other faculty who are also working on public or community-engaged scholarship? Please join us for an informal lunch discussion about community engaged scholarship across various disciplines. Hear about your colleagues’ research. Jennifer Ahern-Dodson, North Carolina Campus Compact Engaged Scholar and Director of the Duke Faculty Write Program, will also share more about a faculty initiative to support and connect faculty with emerging interest or experience in community engaged scholarship.
Free and open to the public. Light lunch served. Co-sponsored by Duke Faculty Write, the Forum for Scholars and Publics, and the Office of Civic Engagement at Duke. Please contact Jennifer Ahern-Dodson for additional information.
