Rory Owen Delaney
Rory Owen Delaney is a producer, writer and podcaster, who got his start in Hollywood working for Avnet/Kerner Productions (FRIED GREEN TOMATOES) and distribution guru Jon Reiss (THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX OFFICE). Delaney directed THE RIVALRY: RED V. BLUE for ESPN. He also co-wrote the Lionsgate feature film BREAKING BROOKLYN, and co-produced the graffiti doc BOMB IT 2 for Hulu. His first documentary TOXIC SOUP was distributed internationally by French Connection Films. MOUNTAIN MAN was a Silver Sierra Award winner at the Yosemite Film Festival, and ROSIE claimed a Screenwriting Craft Award at the First Run Film Festival. LEONARD: POLITICAL PRISONER is his first podcast. In 2022 LEONARD was named one of the top true crime series of the year by the editors at Apple Podcasts. Currently Delaney is adapting the award-winning podcast into a documentary called LAND OF THE FREE* with Chase Iron Eyes and Andrew Fuller. Rory holds a B.A. in English from Yale University and an M.F.A. in Dramatic Writing from New York University. He lives with his wife and dogs in Los Angeles.
