Judy Richardson

Judy Richardson is a filmmaker, author, and veteran of the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC). As a documentary producer, she worked on the fourteen-hour PBS series Eyes on the Prize and co-edited the book, Hands on the Freedom Plow: Personal Accounts by Women in SNCC. Judy has been a Visiting Documentarian and Activist at Duke since 2014 and serves on the Editorial Board of the SNCC Digital Gateway Project and One Person, One Vote: The Legacy of SNCC and the Fight for Voting Rights.
