Bradley Rogers

Bradley Rogers is Assistant Professor of Theater Studies and Director of the Duke in London Drama program. His work focuses on musical theatre and performance theory, with research interests in the relationship between theater, film, and new media; gender and sexuality; the relationships between visuality and aurality; and American theatre and performance. Brad was at Duke as an ACLS Fellow in 2012-13 and became a tenure-track faculty member in 2013-14. In 2015, he was a John W. Kluge Research Fellow at the Library of Congress, where he researched the musical theatre career of Rouben Mamoulian. Several articles are forthcoming, including a chapter on musicals in an Oxford Handbook; a review of John Doyle’s production of Allegro, and a review of Carol Oja’s Bernstein Meets Broadway: Collaborative Art in a Time of War.
