Amy Kramer

Duke University

Amy Kramer is a third year undergraduate student at Duke University majoring in Public Policy with a concentration in US Foreign Policy. She is a cadet in the Army ROTC program and helps facilitate the battalion’s Living Leadership Series and annual trip to Washington DC. She is also a member of the Undergraduate Council of the Duke Program in American Grand Strategy (AGS) and is one of the student leaders of this year’s AGS International Staff Ride to Vietnam. This year, Amy joined the Inaugural Women’s Leadership Cohort, part of the Penny Pilgram George Women’s Leadership Initiative. Last summer, through the Robertson Scholars Leadership Program, Amy traveled internationally to begin her undergraduate thesis research on women’s empowerment in conflict resolution and post-conflict state building. While abroad, she interviewed women leaders in government, academia, and the military.
