La révolution syrienne: le droit, l’art et la mémoire
Avec Ziad Majed
Join us for a roundtable lunchtime discussion in French with Professor Ziad Majed from the American University in Paris. The author of a book on the popular, anti-Assad Syrian revolution published in both French and Arabic, Majed is a major voice in current debates around the many consequences of the conflicts in Syria radiating out from the Middle East. Majed is visiting Duke to participate in the conference, “Arab Refugee Crisis in the 21st Century,” on January 28 and 29.
This talk co-sponsored by the Forum for Scholars and Publics, the Center for French and Francophone Studies, and Asian & Middle Eastern Studies (AMES) at Duke.
