A Conversation with David Goldblatt

In November of 2013, David Goldblatt, author of The Ball is Round: A Global History of Soccer, presented “Copa de Manifestações: Brazilian Politics, Football, and the 2014 World Cup” at the Forum for Scholars and Publics. While Goldblatt was visiting FSP, he shared a few stories with us about corruption in FIFA and OIC, rivalry games and riots, and what to expect in Brazil during the forthcoming 2014 World Cup and 2016 Summer Olympics.
