Join us for a lunchtime conversation with Haitian composer and guitarist Jean Bélony Murat, known by his stage name BélO, and Jacques Pierre (Duke Romance Studies and co-director of the Duke Haiti Lab). The conversation will be in English and Haitian Creole.

Jacques Pierre was born in Cap-Haitien, Haiti. He studied Haitian Creole and French Applied Linguistics at the State University of Haiti.
